Randy
Ochs Brings Extensive Industry Experience To 3D Visualization Company
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif— June 09,
2003—Actify,
the leader in client-server design visualization and collaboration
solutions for the high tech, industrial automation and discrete
manufacturing industries, today announced the appointment of Randy
Ochs as president and Chief Executive Officer. Ochs, who
brings over 20 years of experience in field operations, sales
management and marketing in CAD/CAM, supply chain management and
product lifecycle management (PLM), was chosen to lead Actify's
new strategy to deliver best of breed design visualization solutions
across the supply chain and increase the company's leadership
position in the 3D visualization space.

Ochs brings to
Actify a track record of achievement, delivering exceptional results
in growing both small and large technology companies. Prior to
joining, Actify he served as vice president of Sales for Covigna.
Before Covigna, Ochs held the position of vice president Western
Region, for Agile Software, a public company with over 800 customers
and the leader in PLM solutions for product and design
collaboration. Ochs has also held senior management roles at
Cardonet, PTC/InPart and Autodesk. As a past member of the Actify
advisory board, Ochs' vision for the company, combined with his
industry knowledge were integral to the creation of the
customer-focused business model Actify holds today.
Ochs' sales and
marketing responsibilities with such CAD companies as PTC/InPart,
Autodesk and IBM/CADAM have included the development of a North
America sales organization, including direct, inside sales and
solution consulting. Ochs is well versed in channel sales, ISV
relationships and international business.
