Partnership Will Provide Enhanced and Additional CAD Importers For Actify Customers

Lyon, France and San Francisco, CA— March 2, 2004— Actify Inc., the leader in client-server design visualization and collaboration solutions for the high technology, automotive, industrial automation and discrete manufacturing industries, and TTF, a leader in CAD data interoperability libraries and multi CAD Digital Mock up solutions, today announced that the two companies have entered into a long term strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, TTF Foundations, CAD importing technology, will be available for Actify's SpinFire 2004 entire family of products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Actify users will be able to use TTF's technology to import 3D data formats from any native CAD system for conversion into Actify's .3D format, making file access five to ten times faster than previously available. This also ensures the quality and integrity of the original CAD data is maintained, despite the complexity or size of the original CAD file. Through this technology, the ability to compress and maintain geometry will allow Actify customers to not only open and distribute files quicker but to compress files much smaller while ensuring their designs are being accurately communicated throughout the enterprise and supply chain. In addition, Actify will add an updated Catia V5 importer, CADDS 4 and 5, and .prc, TTF's Project Reviewer intelligent compressed file format, as well as updating several existing supported CAD formats.

The Actify SpinFire 2004 product line supports files created in any CAD file format converting them, into .3D, a world-renowned CAD visualization file format for communicating digital design data beyond the engineering department to knowledge workers.
