LEADING 3D CAD SYSTEMS

SpinFire Professional Now Supports The Latest Versions of Catia V5, EDS's
Unigraphics and SolidWorks 2004

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif — January 6, 2004— Actify Inc., the leader in client-server design visualization and collaboration solutions for the high technology, industrial automation and discrete manufacturing industries, today announced updated SpinFire Professional Importers for new versions of three leading 3D CAD systems; Catia V5, EDS's Unigraphics (UG) CAD System and Solidworks 2004. The Actify SpinFire Professional product line supports files created in any of these three file formats converting them, through the Importers, into .3D, which is a world renowned CAD visualization file format. This allows users in the manufacturing industries, and throughout their supply chains, to view, measure, mark-up and share files without needing to purchase and maintain seats of the native CAD systems.

By adding support for the latest versions of Catia V5 files, UG and Solidworks 2004 files, Actify allows CAD and non-CAD professionals to access complex CAD data in an easy and intuitive way, eliminating the need for the native CAD system. The updated importers are also faster and use less memory than previous versions.
