ACTIFY INC. NAMES CAD/CAM INDUSTRY VETERAN, DAVID OPSAHL, VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Opsahl To Spearhead Growth Through Strategic Partnerships

San Francisco, Calif- May 5, 2004 - Actify, the leader in client-server design visualization and collaboration solutions for the high technology, automotive, industrial automation and discrete manufacturing industries, today announced it had rounded out its executive management team by appointing David Opsahl vice president of business development. Opsahl will lead the Company's global strategic alliance strategy and new market development opportunities. Opsahl brings to Actify over 22 years of management, sales, marketing and business development experience in the CAD/CAM industry, where he drove revenue and profitability growth at companies such as Cardonet, Tecnomatix Technologies and Computervision.

Opsahl joins Actify from product information management software provider Cardonet, Inc., where he was director of business development. He has also held senior management positions with visualization software companies Computervision Corporation, a $500M CAD/CAM pioneer, Adaptive Media and Division, as well as manufacturing process management software vendor, Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd.
