David Opsahl, CEO

David Opsahl joins Actify from product information management software provider Cardonet, Inc. where he was director of business development. Previously, he was with Assentive Solutions, a provider of collaboration solutions for manufacturers, as a founder and vice president of marketing and Business Development. Mr. Opsahl has also held senior management positions with visualization software companies Adaptive Media and Division.

Mr. Opsahl began his career at Computervision Corporation, a $500M CAD/CAM pioneer, where over a period of twelve years he managed several major corporate accounts, was the top ranked sales producer for several years, and later regional sales director. Following his tenure at Computervision, Mr. Opsahl joined manufacturing process management software vendor Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd as general manager of their recently acquired Tecnomatix Quality Engineering subsidiary (formerly Valisys Corporation) where he was responsible for all facets of operation at TQE, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support. Under Mr. Opsahl's direction, TQE achieved record levels of revenue and profitability while introducing several innovative new products and establishing a position as the market leader in tolerance management technology.

Chris Jones, President

Leveraging over 25 years of sales and marketing in the CAD industry, Chris Jones works as Actify's President where he oversees all sales and marketing operations worldwide. Previously he was president of Smarteam Europe Ltd., a provider of product lifecycle collaboration solutions, where he oversaw all European activities for the company. At Smarteam Europe Ltd., he was responsible for building and managing all direct and indirect sales activities for the company.

Prior to Smarteam, Mr. Jones held the general manager position at Engineering Animation Ltd., where he not only built a successful sales program and sales team from the ground up, but he also successfully merged and reorganized two companies as the result of an acquisition. Mr. Jones has also held senior management positions at companies such as Division Group PLC, EDS, EDS Hong Kong and the Greater London Council. Mr. Jones holds a BSc in civil engineering from Queen Mary College and a graduate degree from the University of London.
